Draft for Robert. Not linked or published. Name, price, dates and copy still need your yes.

7-week live program · Tuesdays from November 3 · Founding group

Let AI carry the business,
so you can get back to the work.

A small, live program for photographers, painters, musicians, writers and coaches who run a business on their own. Seven weeks to move from typing into a chat window to a Claude setup that knows your business and finishes real work.

Taught by an artist, not a programmer.

The draft is in your newsletter folder. I opened with the story about the fog at Mohonk from the session, as you asked last month. Two lines are flagged for you: a date I couldn't confirm, and the price of the workshop.

Does this sound familiar?

You're good at your craft. The business around it is what wears you down.

The blank chat, every time

You explain who you are and what you do, again. By next week it's all forgotten.

Admin eats the studio hours

Emails, newsletters, follow-ups and invoices take the morning you meant to spend making something.

A worry you can't quite name

You're curious about AI, and afraid it will cheapen what took you a lifetime to learn.

"Claude Code" sounds like it's for programmers

Every time you look, it's a black screen and people talking about repos. You can't tell if it's meant for you.

Why I'm teaching this

I'm not a programmer. I run my whole business this way.

I'm Robert Rodriguez Jr. I spent twenty years as a music producer and engineer, then twenty more as a photographer, printer and teacher. I'm sixty, and I did nearly all of it by hand.

This past year I built my business around Claude. I still can't read the code. What I can do is say clearly what I want, and judge whether what comes back is good. That turns out to be the whole skill, and it's the one you already have from your own craft.

AI has no taste. You do. This program is about putting your taste in charge.

Built and run by one artist, with Claude

  • A private coaching site where each student gets their own page for every session
  • A dashboard that reads the health of my membership every morning at 6:30
  • Newsletters, session notes and follow-ups drafted in my voice, approved by me
  • A member gallery, email reminders and a weekly business review

The seven weeks

Each week builds on the last. By the end you have a working setup, not a folder of notes.

  1. Week 1

From chat window to working partner

What the chat, Projects, Cowork and Claude Code are each for, and which one to reach for. We install Claude Code together and give it a first real job on your own files.

You leave with: Claude Code running on your computer, pointed at your work.

  2. Week 2

    Teach it who you are

One plain file that tells Claude about you: your business, the people you serve, how you write, and what it should never do without asking. Written once, read every session.

You leave with: Your own instructions file, in your own words.

  3. Week 3

Put your business in one place

Folders Claude can find its way around: your offers, your clients, your writing, your plans. Plus a one-page map of where everything lives, so nothing starts from zero again.

You leave with: A business Claude can read without you explaining it.

  4. Week 4

    Memory that lasts

How Claude remembers decisions and corrections from week to week, and how to fix it when it remembers something wrong. Your notes stay yours, in plain files you can open.

You leave with: An assistant that stops asking the same questions.

  5. Week 5

Anything you do twice becomes a skill

The newsletter, the client follow-up, the caption for a new post. We turn your repeat work into skills Claude runs the same careful way every time, in your voice.

You leave with: Your first two skills, built from your own routine.

  6. Week 6

Connect your tools, keep your judgment

Email, calendar and reminders, connected safely. Claude drafts, you approve. Nothing goes out in your name without a yes from you.

You leave with: A morning brief, and permissions you understand.

  7. Week 7

Your first small tool, and a weekly rhythm

Build one small thing your business has needed for a year: a page, a tracker, a dashboard. Then set up a short weekly review so the whole system keeps getting better.

You leave with: A tool of your own and a setup that improves every week.

What's included
